Xoan Ledo has been named the best goalkeeper of the Liga NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL and the first member of the ‘All Star ASOBAL 2025/2026’ after the voting process concluded, divided between the popular phase (40%), the decision of the leaders, coaches, and captains of the professional competition teams (40%), and the specialized press (20%). The Dicorpebal Logroño La Rioja player prevailed in the first of the ten candidacies that make up the ASOBAL seal's sports excellence awards with 32.79% of the votes, surpassing Santiago Giovagnola of BM. Caserío Ciudad Real (22.56%) and Ivan Panjan (21.34%), who complete the podium.

Xoan Ledo, in this way, enters the ‘All Star ASOBAL’ for the first time, writing his name alongside the great protagonists in the history of the professional competition, being a key figure in a project that goes beyond individual recognition of the best of the season to become a reflection of the talent, competitiveness, and sporting excellence that define the professional handball competition in Spain.

Xoan Ledo, 29 years old, achieves the status of ‘All Star ASOBAL’ after delivering his most solid season in the elite of Spanish men's club handball, taking over from Emil Nielsen (Barça, 2024/2025) and Gonzalo Pérez de Vargas (Barça, 2023/2024), the last two awarded goalkeepers. He has been one of the main protagonists of the runner-up finish achieved by Miguel Ángel Velasco’s Dicorpebal Logroño La Rioja, performing at times at a superlative level, showcasing the status of ASOBAL idol.
