The Plenitude League is finalizing its return after a first half with great results and projects under development within the sports business environment. In the audiovisual section, the first stretch of the 2024/2025 season has signed an audience of 2,969,242 viewers under the umbrella of ASOBAL's television partner and owner of the Plenitude League's television rights, LALIGA.

Its exploitation strategy boosts the growth of the product of the elite of men's handball clubs, improving the audiovisual figure of the previous year (2,951,000 viewers). Its visibility is based on the condition of a competition fully televised through the LALIGA+ platform (120) and the figure of conventional media windows such as RTVE (Teledeporte and RTVE Play), Televisió de Catalunya (Esport3), Castilla-La Mancha Media (CMM) or CRTVG, which have offered more than 50 matches in free to air.

The Great Derby, the most followed match

The Fraikin Granollers-Barça of matchday 8 has been the match with the most live viewers of the first stretch of the season, with 341,000 fans. The Great Derby confirms itself as one of the great assets of the sports and leisure environment of ASOBAL. The clash between Granollers and Blaugranas also achieved a record attendance of 5,100 fans, the best since 2012.

The second match with the most live follow-up was in the 12th edition of the 'Match of the Day' that faced BM. Logroño La Rioja and Barça (256,000 viewers). With a difference of only 3,000 viewers, the Fraikin BM. Granollers-Bidasoa Irun of matchday 10 (253,000) completes the podium of the most watched matches of the first stretch of the Plenitude League 2024/2025.
