The Morrazo Refrigerators face the final battle for their stay in the elite.

The team led by Nacho Moyano will face UBU San Pablo Burgos, in a double-header knockout stage, in search of the last spot available to enjoy the next edition of the Liga Plenitude. Frigoríficos del Morrazo will have the home court advantage, playing the first duel in El Plantío (Wednesday, June 5, 8:30 p.m.) and the return in O Gatañal (Saturday 8, 6:00 p.m.). The Galicians are confident that their temple will gather the faithful to achieve the desired permanence in the elite of national handball.

Frigoríficos del Morrazo avoided the direct relegation in a spectacular second half in the Liga Plenitude, with 17/30 possible points and 7 victories that kept the team in 14th place, battling until the last day with REBI Balonmano Cuenca and Ángel Ximénez Puente Genil to avoid the playoff permanence. The 24 points have not been enough to confirm salvation, but they have been enough for Nacho Moyano's pupils to charge the batteries with optimism in a very tough knockout stage against a UBU San Pablo Burgos that could not conquer the direct ascent in the playoff organized on their court and that dreams of the elite.
