The Match of the Day dresses in pink for World Breast Cancer Day.

ASOBAL will join this weekend in the visibility campaign of the fight and prevention of Breast Cancer, which is celebrated today and will be the protagonist during the sixth round of the Plenitude League. The entity that manages the elite of Spanish men's handball clubs will dress in pink the sixth edition of the 'Match of the Day' that will face, this Sunday, Viveros Herol BM. Nava and Barça (19.30h, Teledeporte and LALIGA+), the duel with the greatest media exposure of the weekend.

The objective is to ensure the maximum possible dissemination of the campaign against the most common type of tumor in women in our country, with 35,312 cases diagnosed during 2023. In this way and during the preview of the match that will take place in Nava de la Asunción, the entire stand of the Guerrer@s Naveros Pavilion will form a mosaic with the corporate pink color of the claim, with the presence of the 40th anniversary logo of ASOBAL and the official claim of the season: 'School of Talent'.

This gesture continues the social responsibility project of the elite of Spanish men's handball clubs, after collaborating in recent months with the Spanish Association against Cancer, within the framework of World Cancer Day, and the Spanish Association against Prostate Cancer during the 'Movember' movement campaign to give visibility to male diseases.
