The head-to-head clash between Cajasol Sevilla BM. Proin and Fertiberia Puerto Sagunto, exclusively on ASOBAL TV

Cajasol Sevilla BM. Proin and Fertiberia Puerto Sagunto face off this Sunday in live and exclusive on ASOBAL TV (12h) in one of the great direct duels of Matchday 8 of the NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL League, which continues to add excitement to a closely contested overall standings. Antonio García's team, with four points, aims to achieve their first home victory in the history of ASOBAL handball and keep dreaming of getting closer to the fight at the top.

Adjusting their performance while wearing the home kit, in front of the crowd at Centro Deportivo Amate, is their pending task and the context that fuels the excitement of this upcoming weekend's match. The Sevillian team has shown a solid foundation to build a present and future project. From the goalkeeper duo formed by Leo Tercariol and Kilian Ramírez, to the innate ability of Chema Márquez to find the path to goal.

The left back is carving out a place among the season's main protagonists with talent, goals, and a commitment that has become his personal identity. A mark that has a direct impact on the increasingly polished collective play. This is demonstrated by Cajasol Sevilla BM. Proin's Matchday 8 game against Bathco BM. Torrelavega, delivering a great performance from the Andalusians on the always challenging Vicente Trueba court of Bathco BM. Torrelavega, maintaining a winning momentum until the final moments.

Their current form, position in the table—tenth with four points—and their opponent guarantee a great duel this Sunday, exclusively on ASOBAL TV. Fertiberia Puerto Sagunto, ninth with five points, will travel to Sevilla without playing it safe, aiming to write another page in the story of their great return to the NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL League. The team led by Sergio Mallo seeks to chain their third match earning at least one point, with the memory still fresh of their strong performance days ago at Santiago Manguán, narrowly missing out on overcoming Tubos Aranda Villa de Aranda.

A performance that stems from an uncompromising competitive gene and standout soloists such as Antonio Capitán, the first 'MVP of the Matchday' this season and second in the ranking of top scorers in the professional competition, who is delivering a remarkable debut season. The left back, also third in defense, has become the cornerstone of the port team's increasingly solid project, finding a balance between offense and defense.

Fertiberia Puerto Sagunto, in fact, holds the ninth best goal difference record in the ASOBAL circuit, just three goals behind ABANCA Ademar León and BM. Caserío Ciudad Real. Their direct duel against Cajasol Sevilla BM. Proin will be a face-to-face by definition, opening the Sunday of the NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL League and leading the ASOBAL TV broadcast schedule, the only platform that offers the professional competition matches fully and live.
