ASOBAL continues to expand its community base and grow in the number of fans who attend the venues that are territory of the Plenitude League with a cumulative attendance of 360,856 followers during the 24/25 season, the best figure recorded since the 13/14 campaign when 393,187 fans were reached, and an increase of 17.41% compared to the 307,364 who attended the 240 matches of the 23/24 campaign. The second round of the top category, with 185,087 fans, also sets a record that improves the numbers recorded in the last decade since, in the 13/14 course, the figure reached 196,052 fans.
Attendance at Plenitude League venues is clearly on the rise, confirming the improvement of the user experience - one of the objectives of the ASOBAL Legacy League - and the product thanks to the increase in competition equality in a course where permanence and European places were not confirmed until the last day. In the last four seasons, the total attendance of fans at top category matches has grown from 233,264 fans in the 21/22 season to 360,856 in the 24/25 season, passing through 296,500 (22/23) and 307,364 (23/24).
León leads total attendance and average per venue
ABANCA Ademar León regains its throne, ceded in the 23/24 season to Frigoríficos del Morrazo, and the Palacio Municipal de los Deportes de León once again leads the ranking of total attendance in the Plenitude League with 37,871 fans. The TOP5 of accumulated attendance is completed by Tubos Aranda Villa de Aranda in their return to the elite (37,513), Frigoríficos del Morrazo (32,500), Recoletas At. Valladolid (30,623) and Bada Huesca (27,946).
León, Aranda de Duero, Cangas, Valladolid and Huesca are also the cities with the best average attendance, game after game, in the Plenitude League. The Palacio Municipal de los Deportes de León has attracted an average of 2,525 followers, the Santiago Manguán has congregated 2,501 spectators, O Gatañal has had 2,167, Huerta del Rey has seduced 2,042 in an almost perfect campaign as Recoletas At. Valladolid's home and the Palacio Municipal de Huesca has called 1,863 followers per match in a campaign in which the Huesca team has managed to confirm its continuity in the elite.
Nava, Aranda and Torrelavega have the best attendance rate
The Pabellón Guerrer@s Naveros can boast of having the highest attendance rate of the Plenitude League 24/25 venues with 97.78%, followed by the Santiago Manguán de Aranda de Duero in the return to the top category of Tubos Aranda Villa de Aranda (89.32%) and the Vicente Trueba in a season of historic records for Bathco BM. Torrelavega (87.5%). Completing the TOP5 of the venues with the highest % of seat occupancy are the temple of Frigoríficos del Morrazo, O Gatañal, with 86.68% and, in fifth place, the Pabellón David Santamaría de Guadalajara with 84.87%.
