19/03/2025 | Arcalle Liga Plenitude

The action of the Plenitude League returns to the courts that are ASOBAL territory with the dispute of the matches that were postponed on Matchday 16 and that involve the teams that occupy the top of the classification. A perfect plan to celebrate Father's Day in the stands. All matches will be broadcasted on the LALIGA+ App.

The match kicks off with Fraikin BM. Granollers hosting REBI Balonmano Cuenca at the Vallesano venue. The Catalan team, third in the table with 26 points, remember the defeat in the first round match at El Sargal (38-35). Antonio Rama's pupils come to the match after overcoming BM. Logroño La Rioja (28-27) in a match ending not suitable for sensitive hearts while the Cuenca team, seventh with 20 points, fell defeated on the Helvetia Anaitasuna court (33-26).

Bathco BM. Torrelavega (2º, 27 points) has only a one-point advantage over the Vallesanos and faces a BM. Logroño La Rioja which it surpassed on the first day (26-28). The Cantabrians are coming from a victory against Bada Huesca at Vicente Trueba (34-29) while the Riojans (10º, 18p) suffered a minimal defeat in Granollers.

Bada Huesca and Barça will face each other with diametrically opposed goals. The Huesca team faces the challenge of securing permanence in the elite of handball and leaving the relegation places. José Nolasco's team is 16º with 7 points and salvation is 5p away while its rival, Barça, has not given up any points in the Plenitude League and is leading with 36.

Completing this Wednesday of Plenitude League is the match between Bidasoa Irun and Tubos Aranda Villa de Aranda that ended with a surprising draw at the start of the competition (26-26). The Irun team (5º, 24p) does not want to fall behind in the fight for Europe while the Arandinos (9º, 18p) will seek to increase their distance from relegation and confirm their status as the revelation team of the season.
