The ASOBAL clubs met this Monday at the Hotel Villamadrid – Madrid to participate in a new workshop, corresponding to the second season of these work sessions framed within the ASOBAL Legacy League (ALL) and the ASOBAL Hub, two initiatives promoted by the organization with the aim of modernizing, professionalizing and strengthening the ecosystem of Spanish handball.

The first part of the meeting focused on the ASOBAL Legacy League (ALL), where the clubs deepened and worked on different aspects related to sustainable competition, including those arising from individualized mentorships, reviewing progress and aligning common goals. This work is part of the integral sustainability project of ASOBAL, aimed at promoting responsible practices in the economic and governance, social and environmental dimensions, driving significant changes on and off the court. The initiative, of great value, has already been recognized with the Sustainability Day Award.

Subsequently, the club representatives addressed the contents of the ASOBAL Hub, a space designed to accelerate the professionalization and modernization of Spanish handball. During the session, aspects such as digitalization were worked on, for which a map of the current situation of the clubs in this area was drawn up, and the optimization of the sponsorship program, essential elements to increase the visibility of the competition, generate new business opportunities and strengthen the relationship with strategic partners in an increasingly demanding sportbusiness environment driven by data.

The meeting also featured the notable participation of Nexus Energy, main sponsor of the competition, which had a specific space in which, through its director of the Commercialization Unit, Jesús Martín, he presented the synergies between the company and ASOBAL, as well as their fit and contribution within the ALL.
