The ASOBAL celebration at Palau d'Esports to close a season that continues to elevate the experience and the product of the professional competition

The Palau d'Esports de Granollers experienced a final act of the Liga NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL 2025/2026 at the level of spectacle, talent, and commitment of all its protagonists throughout the 30 rounds of the official calendar. The blanc-i-blava court was the setting for the great end-of-season celebration of the ASOBAL brand, with Fraikin BM. Granollers-BM. Caserío Ciudad Real on the court, with third place in the standings at stake and the focus on the stands and the live experience of the ASOBAL Community.

ASOBAL, together with the Vallès club and with the collaboration of the main sponsors of the professional competition, Nexus Energía and Decathlon, prepared a special day made up of a program of activities and actions that elevated the product of the last round of the season, creating a festive atmosphere that went beyond the strictly sporting.

The thousands of fans who filled the Granollers venue were able to enjoy from before the match raffles, animation activities, and experiences designed so that fans of the professional competition could enjoy a unique afternoon closing the Liga NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL. Among all these actions, the accuracy contest organized by Nexus Energía stood out, which put up and awarded a year of free renewable electricity supply.

An initiative that reflects the joint commitment of the competition, clubs, and sponsors to bring professional handball even closer to its entire community, the heart of the project. The event served to continue promoting a sports event model that transcends the court and strengthens the connection between clubs, brands, and fans, consolidating the Liga NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL as a competition that aims to generate distinctive experiences around the sporting spectacle.

The season finale in Granollers thus joined the series of events activated this campaign with the collaboration of ASOBAL clubs, such as the Catalan ‘Gran Derbi,’ the mid-season closing with ABANCA Ademar León, the ‘Energy Match’ with Dicorpebal Logroño La Rioja, or the awarding of the Liga NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL champion trophy to Barça, initiatives that reinforce the value of matchday as part of the professional competition product.

Fraikin BM. Granollers and BM. Caserío Ciudad Real provided the play, in a match that featured, among other elements, a spectacular performance by Pablo Urdangarín, MVP of the round (8 goals and 4 assists). The '77' of Antonio Rama’s team led his side to victory, who depended on themselves to mathematically secure third place in the table and qualification to compete in European competition next season.
