Servando Revuelta, new president of the Spanish Professional Leagues Association

Servando Revuelta has been appointed new president of the Association of Professional Leagues of Spain (ALPE), made up of LALIGA and Liga F of football, the ACB of basketball, ASOBAL and the LNFS of futsal. The head of the elite of Spanish men's handball clubs took office this morning at the General Assembly in which Liga F's president, Beatriz Álvarez, was also appointed as vice president of ALPE and José Montero, Director of Institutional Relations of LALIGA, as new secretary general.  

Servando Revuelta takes over from Javier Lozano, current president of the LNFS, becoming the first president in the history of ASOBAL to lead the work of ALPE, founded in 2017 with the aim to promote, spread and defend the Spanish professional sports movement, protecting the common interests of all its members.

“I thank the entity for trusting me and, therefore, in the work we are doing in the ASOBAL project. We will continue with the work of responsibility and dedication that has been done in recent years under the direction of Javier Lozano, defending the rights of the major leagues in our country”, comments Servando Revuelta.

ALPE works to promote, spread and defend the national professional sports movement, collaborating permanently with different public sports institutions, the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) and the different Spanish sports federations, as well as with any other public or private entity, of national or international nature that has a relationship with sport.
