Sargal and REBI Handball Cuenca are already preparing the ASOBAL season.

REBI Handball Cuenca is the last ASOBAL team to return to work and prepare from this Wednesday its participation in the next edition of the NEXUS ENERGY ASOBAL League. The team of Lidio Jiménez has started with a first day of contacting, among the common objectives to achieve during the course and the first exercises, already stepping on the floor of El Sargal.

Always with the usual passion and ambition to ensure being always competitive. In this line, the sports project has been rearmed, which presents the novelty of Afonso Mendes, Manuel Lima, Daniel Arguillas, Enrico Aldini, Sergio Antúnez, Rajmond Toth, Santiago Mosquera, Jaime Colmena, and David Notario. A mix of young talent, present, and consolidated players to once again enjoy the fans of the NEXUS ENERGY ASOBAL League. The debut of REBI Handball Cuenca in the domestic competition will be at home against Bathco BM. Torrelavega on their court.

"We have a lot of enthusiasm. The coach has to have that desire, to meet the new signings, to know them on the court and see what we are capable of doing. We have to be excited. We are very happy with what we have done. We have refreshed the squad a lot and we have to have the illusion for this to go forward", commented Lidio Jiménez. "It's new air, renewed air, enthusiasm for doing things better. That they fill you with a desire to work, which is going to be hard", commented Fede Pizarro, who this season premieres the condition of first captain of the squad.
