REUNIÓN DE LAS PRINCIPALES LIGAS DE BALONMANO

Esta mañana se ha celebrado en las oficinas de ASOBAL en Barcelona, una reunión en la que han participado las Asociaciones de Ligas Danesa, Francesa, Alemana y Española. Los principales temas tratados han sido los siguientes:

• Acciones legales emprendidas por ASOBAL.
• Problemática relativa al calendario deportivo, y posibilidad de un calendario común nacional e internacional, reducción de las competiciones internacionales (Campeonatos del Mundo y Europeos cada cuatro años), reducción de los campeonatos de clasificación, etc.
• Cesión de jugadores a las Selecciones Nacionales desde la perspectiva Económica.
• Necesidad de que las Ligas tengan representación en los comités y organismos internacionales (IHF y EHF).
• Creación de una estructura similar al modelo UEFA.
• Celebración de la próxima reunión en el mes de noviembre, donde se tratará la posible creación y estructura de una asociación de Ligas Europeas.

ENGLISH VERSION

During this morning it has been celebrated a meeting at the ASOBAL headquarter (Barcelona) with the participation of the Danish, French, German and Spanish League Associations. Main items dealt have been as follows:

• Legal actions started by ASOBAL.
• Problems related with the sportive calendar, and possibility of creation a common national and international calendar, reduction the international competitions (World and European championships every four years) reduction of the qualification tournaments, etc.
• Releasing of players to their National Teams under the economical and financial point of view.
• Necessity of League to have representation in the committees and international bodies (IHF and EHF).
• Creation of a similar structure as the UEFA model.
• Celebration of a next meeting on November, dealing the possible creation of a European leagues association.
