ASOBAL wishes to express its condolences to the family of REBI Balonmano Cuenca on the passing of the club's former president Isidoro Gómez Cavero. He was linked to the Cuenca club for more than two decades, first serving as a doctor, his profession, and later assuming the role of top executive in 2011 - until 2025 - leaving an indelible mark at El Sargal, being an example of tireless work, character, and a spirit of overcoming.

His legacy will always remain alive in ASOBAL handball and in the memory of countless players, professionals, and fans who have shared, share, and will share his genuine passion for our sport.
