Bathco BM. Torrelavega is determined to grow and be one of the great contenders of the Liga NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL. The Orange Squad has signed an ambitious summer, renewing the fundamental pillars of its project and adding great players with the goal of taking a step further in their performance. After the retirements of Borja Lombilla, Carlos Calle, and Oswaldo Maestro, which add to the departures of Leo Tercariol and Junior Scott, Bathco BM. Torrelavega has renewed its goalkeeping with Saeid Barkhordari and Rangel Luan, who returns to ASOBAL handball, and has strengthened the rotation with Diego Gándara (loan return), Mikael Lopes, Pedro Berrío (loan return), and Frank Cordiés, one of the breakout players of last season. Player to Watch: Isidoro Martínez

Handball, pace, and the ability to dismantle opposing defenses stem from the hands of Isidoro Martínez. The center back, at 26 years old, is one of the major protagonists of the Liga NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL. He faces his fifth appearance in the professional competition after recording 107 assists and 131 goals last year, the best stat of goal-scoring actions generated by a single player. He was the Nexus Energía MVP of December and a candidate for best center back in the All Star ASOBAL.

ASOBAL Pearl: Mikael Lopes

The Brazilian right back promises goals and one of the most powerful outside shots of the season. At 21 years old, he arrives as a great promise of the Liga NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL. He signs with the Orange Squad coming from Barça's reserve team and after scoring 82 goals in División de Honor Plata, being key in the seventh position achieved by the young blaugrana squad and in their performance in the Copa del Rey, first overcoming Tubos Aranda Villa de Aranda (with 8 goals) and SANICENTRO BM Guadalajara (5 goals). In the third round, despite elimination, he scored 10 goals against Recoletas Salud Atlético Valladolid.
