NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL 26/27 Schedule: Check All the Dates for the New ASOBAL Season

ASOBAL has published this Thursday the official schedule for the Liga NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL 2026/2027, which will begin the weekend of September 12-13 with the first matchday and the celebration of the 34th edition of the Copa ASOBAL, one of the great attractions of the new season. The professional competition brings back the prestigious tournament, which will be held within the framework of matchday 1 of the regular season and in a team vs. team format, featuring Dicorpebal Logroño La Rioja and Barça, the current runners-up and champions of the professional competition, respectively. These are all the matchups for the first matchday of the ASOBAL 2026/2027 season:

The Liga NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL guarantees another year of excitement, talent, and genuine equality until matchday 30, which will be played the weekend of June 5 and 6. A total of 30 matchdays and 240 matches featuring the best idols of the ASOBAL brand, the best version of their clubs, and the strategic partners of the professional competition project, with Nexus Energía as its main sponsor and title sponsor and Decathlon as the main sports partner and official ball supplier.

Derbies and great showdowns of the ASOBAL brand

The schedule has revealed, among other details, the dates of all the derbies of the Liga NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL, the cornerstone of its competitive narrative, connection to the territory, and its fans. The 'Great Derby' of ASOBAL between the Catalan teams Fraikin BM. Granollers and Barça will be played between matchday 8 at the Palau d'Esports blanc-i-blau and matchday 23 at the Palau Blaugrana in Barcelona.

Also notable is Barça's visit under Carlos Ortega to the Quijote Arena of BM.
