His contribution is key in the team play, creating space for his teammates and always being a threat in one-on-one situations. The ‘Gladiadores Azules’ rely on their center back to continue proving they are one of the great teams in ASOBAL handball.

ASOBAL Pearl: Sergio Sánchez

Sergio Sánchez arrives at Huerta del Rey as one of the most interesting young players in the ASOBAL circuit. At 19 years old, an international in the youth categories of the Spanish national team, and with the characteristics of a modern winger, standing 1.90 meters tall and capable of being important on both sides of the court. The former ABANCA Ademar León player comes to Valladolid after scoring 61 goals last year, his third season in Liga NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL.
