Mohamed Aly from Franjivino conquers the African Championship

The goalkeeper of BM. Logroño La Rioja, Mohamed Aly, has won the Gold medal with Egypt after being proclaimed African Champion 2024 in a placid final against Algeria (29-21). It is the third consecutive title and the ninth continental crown in their history that takes the pharaohs, with a direct ticket, to the Paris 2024 Olympics. The African team joins France (host), Denmark (World Champion), Argentina (Pan American Champion), Japan (Asian Champion) and Sweden (Bronze in the European Championship). In the fight for the bronze of the African Championship, Tunisia asserted its authority against Cape Verde (35-28).
