Iván Montoya returns home for Horneo EÓN Alicante's debut in ASOBAL

The pivot Iván Montoya returns to his city for the premiere of Horneo EÓN Alicante in the top category of men's club handball. The 26-year-old player returns home, a decade later, after amassing four seasons at Bada Huesca and two courses at Fraikin BM. Granollers, scoring 499 goals in 142 matches in the elite.

After achieving his dream of debuting in the ASOBAL League in the 2019/2020 season, Iván Montoya makes his ambition to represent a team from his city in the top category a reality, contributing his experience and talent in an agreement for the next three seasons.

“I've known this project for many years, it has become stronger over time and for me to come to this project and have a team in the top category of any sport in Alicante is exciting and I wanted to be here and contribute my bit”.
