IRUDEK Bidasoa Irun returns to work and debuts the ASOBAL preseason.

IRUDEK Bidasoa Irun has been the first ASOBAL team to return to training routine and thus kick off the preseason of the elite of Spanish men's handball clubs. The team of Álex Mozas held this Wednesday its first training session on the Artaleku court to prepare its exciting campaign, with the NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL League as the central pillar in its objectives plan. 

“We are eager to start again and see a bit of the new Bidasoa with the new signings we have made, which I think give us a quality leap. With a lot of illusion and eagerness to get back to work”, commented the coach of the Irun team, in statements for the official club website. The coach has highlighted the presence of the team's new additions, Xavi Tua, Nacho Valles, Xavi González, Mario Nevado, Piotr Mielczarski and the Spanish international Iñaki Peciña, who returns to ASOBAL handball.

“It is clear that seeing the teammates, the new faces and not so new ones gives you that illusion back and returning to Artaleku fills us with illusion and we are eager to start”, pointed out the captain, Gorka Nieto, best center of the last edition of the current NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL League. Bidasoa begins work with the debut in the qualifying round of the EHF European League against ABC de Braga on the horizon, as the first official challenge of the season.
