Horneo EÓN Alicante is shaping its roster for its debut in ASOBAL.

Pitiu Rochel will once again host top-tier men's club handball matches following Horneo EÓN Alicante's promotion to Liga ASOBAL. The Alicante team is shaping its sporting project for the 25/26 season, aiming to remain in the elite with a balance between the arrival of young talent and the incorporation of more veteran players with ASOBAL experience.

Four signings come from two ASOBAL clubs: Viveros Herol BM. Nava and Servigroup Hoteles Benidorm. Following the relegation of the Benidorm club, Horneo EÓN Alicante adds Pepe Oliver and Roberto Domenech to its ranks. The pivot from Elche has played 168 matches in his seven seasons with Benidorm in Liga ASOBAL, while the goalkeeper has played two seasons in the elite, the first as a blaugrana and the second at the neighboring club.

Borja Méndez and Lautaro Robledo will arrive in Alicante from Viveros Herol BM. Nava. The Galician center back has 8 seasons in ASOBAL, spread across Teucro (1), Anaitasuna (1), Benidorm (2), Valladolid (2) and Nava (2), making him well acquainted with the top tier. The right wing has only two seasons in the elite between Benidorm and Nava but, at 22 years old, he is a full international with the Argentine national team.

The team led by Fernando Latorre has also announced the signing of Flavio Wick, a Swiss international goalkeeper coming from Wacker Thun; Fabio Teixeira, a 25-year-old left wing international with the Portuguese national team who has worn the Aguás Santas jersey for seven seasons; Eduardo Escobedo, a left back from TROPS Málaga; Yanis Ramirez, an 18-year-old right wing with a promising future who has already demonstrated his quality at Balonmano Gáldar of Gran Canaria and is a regular in the Hispanos Juveniles; left back Augusto Moreno, from Caserío Ciudad Real, signs for two seasons and his teammate in the position will be Javier Rodríguez from UBU San Pablo Burgos; right wing Jorge Laredo from Agustinos Alicante; and the Slovenian pivot Ožbej Šilc.
