Guadalajara and the ambition of a project to enjoy in the Liga Plenitude.

BM Guadalajara is slowly working its way back to the Plenitude League after regaining its place in the elite of Spanish men's handball clubs last season. The team from Guadalajara wants to carry the extremely high competitive pace it showed months ago into an exciting 2024/2025 season. The sports area, as the foundation of the project, is already closed. The club considers the list of high-profile players during the summer market closed after incorporating a total of 5 players: Tobias Lantz-Pedersen, Vicente Manuel Poveda Paredes, Piotr Mielczarski, Jakub Edward Sladkowski and José Palacios.

Lantz, 1.96 meters tall and 22 years old, arrives on the ASOBAL circuit to defend the goal coming from the TSM Ringsted of the first division of Denmark. Poveda, for his part, will wear the Guadalajara shirt after being one of the most outstanding left backs in the last Plenitude League at Fertiberia Puerto Sagunto. Mielczarski, 18-year-old front line and 1.97 meters tall, and Sladkowski, 19-year-old pivot and 1.97 meters tall, will land in the team led by Juan Carlos Requena, on loan from Bidasoa Irun after playing the European Junior Championship with the Poland team.

José Palacios, finally, will contribute physical and outside shooting to the right wing. The international with Venezuela has extensive experience in the state circuit, especially in the Silver Honor Division (signs after playing at ID Energy Caserío Ciudad Real). Gualadajara, in addition, has shielded the main core of its squad, with the best left wing of the Plenitude League 2022/2023 at the helm, Pancho Lombardi. The club has announced in recent weeks the renewals of Nicolás García (3 seasons), Miguel Llorens (one more course), the Tolosa side Haitz Gorostidi (one year), the center Alberto Serradilla (one course), the winger José Luis Román (until 2025) and the sides Juan Jodar and Manu Catalina (for this upcoming season).
