Gonzalo Pérez Arce has lifted the top scorer award of the Liga NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL 2025/2026 after a season built on goals and pinpoint accuracy. The right winger of ABANCA Ademar León has been the best offensive specialist in ASOBAL handball after scoring a total of 231 goals and an average of 7.97 per game, a personal record in the professional competition, showcasing his talent and ability to make a difference.

He firmly led the scoring chart, finishing the regular season with 66 more goals than David Cadarso, second, and 67 more than Marcos Fis, third. He reached the 10-goal mark in up to 8 rounds, setting his best record this year with 14 goals scored at the Palacio Municipal de los Deportes Urbano González Escapa against Bada Huesca.

The statistical section elevates him to the best historical records of the Liga NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL. His is the best scoring mark in the last 20 years of the professional competition, the seventh highest in history, just 40 goals short of the all-time record, held — precisely — by Julio Fis, father of Fraikin BM. Granollers player Marcos Fis, who scored 271 goals in the 2004/2005 season.
