The second day of the NEXUS ENERGY ASOBAL League has followed the wake of the start of the 2025/2026 season, marked by the spectacle and energy of ASOBAL handball. The pace, so far, is led by Barça, IRUDEK Bidasoa Irun, Fraikin BM. Granollers and Bathco BM. Torrelavega, the only teams with full victories at the top of the general classification.

Barça revalidated its leadership with victory against Recoletas At. Valladolid at the Palau Blaugrana (35-25), with the very young Adrián Sola (8 goals) and Ian Barrufet (5 out of 5). IRUDEK Bidasoa Irun follows the pace of the reigning champion with its second win of the course, in this case on the track of Cajasol Ángel Ximénez Puente Genil (30-36). Great game from the left-handed duo Julen Mujica-Xavier González (13 goals between the two), with a standout Jakub Skrzyniarz in goal. Fraikin BM. Granollers, for its part, added the two points in its always complicated trip to León (36-39).

ABANCA Ademar León pushed the blanc-i-blaus to the limit, knowing how to manage the goals of Gonzalo Pérez Arce (13) thanks to its offensive resources, with Bruno Reguart and Jordi Deumal as the most outstanding players. Bathco BM. Torrelavega completes the list of teams that have added the 2/2 at the start of the NEXUS ENERGY ASOBAL League. The 'Orange Squad' did their duties in the premiere in front of their audience against BM. Logroño La Rioja (29-25) thanks to a huge performance from Carlos Calle in goal, having at times a 50% effectiveness in saves.

BM. Caserío Ciudad Real and Horneo EÓN Alicante scored the first ASOBAL victory in their history. The manchegos did it at the Quijote Arena, again beating to the rhythm of the national competition, this time overcoming REBI Balonmano Cuenca (25-23). Latorre's pupils added the two points away, in the domains of SANICENTRO BM. Guadalajara (29-35) under the direction of Ander Torrico (12 goals). The victory of Bada Huesca against Tubos Aranda Villa de Aranda (28-25), both with a win in the standings, and the game that was narrowly won by Viveros Herol BM. Nava against Frigoríficos del Morrazo (34-33) closed a more than exciting day 2 of the NEXUS ENERGY ASOBAL League.
