FC Barcelona will represent the Plenitude League in the Champions Final4.

The reigning Champion of the Plenitude League, Barça, has secured its ticket to the Final4 of the EHF Champions League and will be able to defend its European throne at the majestic Lanxess Arena in Cologne. The Blaugranas made good use of the +3 advantage obtained on the OTP Bank - PICK Szeged court (24-27) and, despite falling by the minimum at the Palau Blaugrana (29-30), will accompany Füchse Berlin, HBC Nantes and SC Magdeburg in the four-team final of the continental competition to be held on the weekend of June 14 and 15. The Plenitude League will have a representative in the F4, like the Liqui Moly StarLigue of France, while the German Bundesliga will have two participants.

The most laureate team of the Champions and title defender will try to enlarge its European legend in search of the 13º title in its showcases in its 13ª presence in the Final4 of Cologne. The Blaugranas will compete in the 21ª semifinal of their history and have very favorable precedents after having played the grand final on 15 of 20 occasions. Barça will know today, at 2:00 p.m., its opponent in the semifinals after the draw that the European Handball Federation (EHF) will celebrate.
