Clubs conclude a new development season with the final ASOBAL Hub session

Madrid hosted this Monday the final session of the ASOBAL Hub for the 2025/26 season, a meeting that brought together in person the clubs of the 36th NEXUS ENERGÍA ASOBAL League to continue promoting their structural development and strengthen the professional competition model.

Held at the Hotel Villamadrid, the day capped off a work program that, throughout the season, has consolidated ASOBAL Hub as a space for training, collaboration, and knowledge exchange among clubs. Through workshops and specialized thematic sessions, ASOBAL has provided tools and methodologies aimed at driving the sustainable growth of professional handball.

During this fifth and final session of the season, attendees delved into the development of fan engagement and the spectator experience in the arena. Throughout the day, trends and strategies were analyzed aimed at continuing to increase attendance at arenas, as well as reinforcing the role of the fan, placing them at the center of the competition’s development and evolution.

In this context, ASOBAL presented to the clubs the results of the second edition of the fan perception survey corresponding to the 2025/26 season, an initiative that reflects the organization’s commitment to maintaining constant dialogue with its community and continuing to strengthen the connection between the competition, the clubs, and their followers.

The day also served to continue the ASOBAL Legacy League (ALL), the project that articulates the competition’s commitment to a sustainable development model based on three pillars: social, environmental, and economic-governance. After learning the results of the first ordered top 8 of ASOBAL’s sustainable competition, the bases for the next edition of the project for the 2026/27 season were presented.
