Carlos Calle will continue in Torrelavega until 2025

Bathco BM. Torrelavega's goalkeeper, Carlos Calle, extends his contract with the Cantabrian club for another season, which will allow him to spend his fourth year defending the goal of The Orange Squad. The Madrid-born is one of the fittest goalkeepers in the Plenitude League, with an exceptional first round that has placed him ninth in the goalkeeper ranking with 109 stops and a 29.86% effectiveness.

“I'm very happy and very grateful for the confidence, both to the club and to the new technical team. I'm super happy to continue one more year in Torrelavega, everyone here makes me feel at home and I couldn't be better anywhere else. It is true that there will be a quite notable change of cycle but the fact that the club has bet on Jacobo and his technical team, shows us players that it will continue to be an ambitious project and that we will continue to make an impact. It is quite stimulating and motivating. I'm very comfortable in Torrelavega and in Cantabria in general”.

“The team has gone from less to more in the second round, especially in terms of regularity and we have to look to continue with those positive sensations and be a more reliable team, not have so many ups and downs. From there, the points will come and surely we will end the year well. In the first season here, I could only play 6 games due to injury. The second was a period of adaptation to the return to competition, longer than I would have liked, and I ended with good sensations. This year I am feeling better. Very supported by my teammates, by the fans and by the club”.
