The new BM. Logroño La Rioja by Miguel Ángel Velasco has started this Monday the first official training of the 2025/2026 season. The team has once again stepped onto the 40x20 of the Palacio de los Deportes de la Rioja, dressed in shorts, showcasing new signings. The objective of the sports project seeks to give continuity to the final stretch of the last season, more than solid, establishing itself as one of the most in-form teams and securing the fifth position in the standings.
Ivan Popovic, Unai Galán, Marcos Cancio, Nemanja Pestic, Miguel Martínez, Álvaro Martínez, Aitor García and Pancho Lombardi make up the wave of arrivals during the summer market, which expands the squad's alternatives. "I'm happy, the group of players is very good. Now we have to take advantage of it and give our maximum", commented Álvaro Martínez. "The truth is that it has gone very well, I am very happy. We have met all the teammates, we have already had the first session. We are very eager to continue with the preseason and looking forward to the start of the season", pointed out Unai Galán, another new face on the team. Another novelty of BM. Logroño La Rioja is the incorporation of former club goalkeeper Javier Romeoe to the technical staff after ending his sports career days ago.
