BM. Caserío Ciudad Real celebrated its mathematical permanence in the NEXUS ENERGY ASOBAL League this Sunday with a victory against Recoletas At. Valladolid and the support of its Quijote Arena fans (33-30). The Manchego team will continue to be a protagonist of the professional competition thanks to its impressive debut season, built upon the collective factor, the performance of key players like Santiago Giovagnola in the goal, and the work of Urdiales' technical staff. The victory against Recoletas At. Valladolid has crowned the celebration of the locals, who have maintained their competitive version of recent weeks, confidently taking the initiative on the scoreboard for much of the 60 minutes, after some initial moments of equality. They have grown based on defense and transitions, being able to distribute moments of individual brilliance among José Andrés Torres, Aitor Albizu or Javier Domingo, with Giovagnola's interventions as the basis of their performance. David Pisonero's team was able to get within three goals in the final moments of the duel, but without options to certify the hypothetical comeback. With this result, BM. Caserío Ciudad Real strengthens its position in eighth place with 26 points, one behind this weekend's rival.
