Bidasoa Irun has announced this Tuesday a new agreement with Irudek, which now gives its name to the Bidasoatarra team of the Plenitude League. In this way, it is a historic movement that fuels the structural growth of the club, already linked with the Guipuzcoana company of protection against falls from height and life lines since 2021. “It is a very important day for Club Deportivo Bidasoa. The club, after 28 years, regains the naming of a company. That a family company like Irudek and open to Europe and the world, with those values that are so ours, agrees to take the commercial naming of the first team is very important for us”, has pointed out the president of Bidasoa, Gurutz Aginagalade, after signing the new agreement at the headquarters of Irudek.
The event also featured the presence of the entire squad of the newly renamed IRUDEK Bidasoa Irun and Jesús Yeregui, general manager of Irudek. “For us to have the sponsorship and to be able to call ourselves IRUDEK Bidasoa Irun is a pride. We also intend that the club grows with us and that we grow with the club. We have been sponsoring Bidasoa in one way for a few years, and this is a leap that is maturing”, explained Yeregui, highlighting the foundations of the common project.
Bunzl, new club sponsor
Bidasoa Irun has taken advantage of the event to announce that the company Bunzl, market leader in the integral distribution of non-food solutions for all types of entities, joins its list of sponsors. The shirts of the team led by Álex Mozas will sport the company's logo on their right sleeve. “We want Irudek to continue providing support and cooperating with the local community and local values, which also match very much with handball. It is a pride for us to sponsor a club like yours, historic and that it is handball”, has commented, Mario Ballarín, General Manager of Bunzl.
