ASOBAL reinforces its commitment to sustainability and social values by echoing World Breast Cancer Day (October 19), a key date to highlight the importance of prevention, research and support for all people who live week by week with this disease. In this line and during the dispute of the sixth day of the NEXUS ENERGY ASOBAL League, the visual designs of the competition will dress in pink, symbol of the fight against breast cancer, in a collective gesture of support and awareness.
Professional sport has the ability to inspire, unite and mobilize society, and ASOBAL wants to put that strength at the service of causes that transcend the sports field, basic in the social environment. This action is part of the organization's commitment to sustainability and social responsibility, essential pillars of the ASOBAL Legacy League (ALL) project, which seeks to lead a positive change for the handball community.
The clubs, players, fans and sponsors of ASOBAL join this common initiative to make visible the effort, resilience and daily work of people affected by breast cancer. From ASOBAL, it also encourages the entire ASOBAL Community to actively participate in the dissemination of the message, using the color pink as a symbol of support and solidarity.
