The ASOBAL League continues to demonstrate its competitive strength after managing to position itself as the second national league with the highest score in the ranking prepared by the European Handball Federation (EHF) taking into account the performance of the clubs in the competitions of the old continent during the seasons 2023/2024, 2022/2023 and 2021/2022.
ASOBAL occupies the second position with 273.33 points accumulated by our clubs, only behind the German Bundesliga that leads the table with 328 points and ahead of Poland (212.66), France (206.33), Denmark (202.33), Hungary (201.33) and Portugal (143.67).
In the EHF Champions League, ASOBAL rises to the first position in the ranking with 215 points, followed by Germany (182.33) and Poland (166.33), thanks to the exceptional trajectory of Barça in the maximum continental competition with the achievement of two titles (2023/2024 and 2021/2022) in the last three seasons that count. In addition, the teams of the ASOBAL League have added 58.33 points in the European League, with the outstanding contribution of the runner-up played by Fraikin BM.
