ASOBAL will pay tribute to the members of the Plenitude League who this summer won the Junior European Championship with the Spanish team and a medal at the past Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The entity wants to reward -one more season- the talent, the culture of effort and the commitment of its professionals, the great ambassadors of the competition.
The previous year it was the 'Hispanos juveniles' who received the recognition from ASOBAL and the elite of Spanish men's handball clubs after winning the 2023 World Cup in Croatia. On this occasion, a total of 20 professionals will be honored, including players and staff members, who represent seven different clubs in the competition. The award ceremony will take place during the first two days of the Plenitude League 2024/2025 just before the start of the different matches that have winners in the local team.
In this way, this ceremony will be staged at the Barça-Bada Huesca (Saturday, September 14), Helvetia Anaitasuna-Viveros Herol BM. Nava (Sunday, September 15), Bidasoa Irun-Barça (Sunday, September 22), Fraikin BM. Granollers- Servigroup Hoteles Benidorm (Friday, September 20), Bathco BM. Torrelavega-Ángel Ximénez Puente Genil (Saturday, September 21), ABANCA Ademar León-Tubos Aranda Villa de Aranda (Sunday, September 22) and the season opener between Recoletas At. Valladolid and Frigoríficos del Morrazo, which will feature the presence of Servando Revuelta, president of ASOBAL.
In the case of internationals that this season no longer compete in the Plenitude League, ASOBAL will deliver their award. The complete list of winners is as follows:
