ASOBAL once again collaborates with the Spanish Association against Cancer in the 'Bracelets of Hope' campaign.

ASOBAL will collaborate once more with the Spanish Association against Cancer in the 'Bracelets of Hope' action, under the umbrella of the 'All Against Cancer' initiative and the celebration this Tuesday, February 4th, of World Cancer Day. The clubs that make up the Plenitude League thus join LALIGA EA SPORTS, LALIGA HYPERMOTION, Endesa League and F League within the group of professional sports competitions in Spain to make visible the fight against the disease and the work of the Association, which works to achieve a survival rate of 70% in diagnosed cases by the year 2030.

The initiative will take place over the next two weeks, taking advantage of the premiere of the second half of the official Plenitude League calendar, and will see players, coaches and referees take to the court wearing a green ribbon on their shirts as a symbol of hope. It is a tangible element to highlight the need to continue joining efforts against the "most important socio-health problem at a global level", points out the Spanish Association Against Cancer, which also notes that during the last year 290,441 new cases were diagnosed in Spain.

The campaign aims to transform the perception of cancer, moving from mourning to the possibility of a better future for patients, and to improve survival and quality of life for people living with this disease. With this intention will the protagonists of the ASOBAL clubs wear their green ribbons. First in the four matches scheduled for this week: ABANCA Ademar León-Ángel Ximénez Puente Genil, Frigoríficos del Morrazo-Recoletas At. Valladolid, IMPULSE BM. Guadalajara- Servigroup Hotels Benidorm and the 'Match of the Day' between Viveros Herol BM. Nava-Helvetia Anaitasuna. The 'Bracelets of Hope' action will extend to the eight matches of matchday 17.
