Within the framework of the collaboration agreement between ASOBAL and the Spanish Commission for Anti-Doping in Sport (CELAD), the professional league continues to develop training actions aimed at strengthening the prevention of doping and the promotion of fair play in professional handball.
In this context, this Tuesday, February 3, the ASOBAL clubs participated in the second training day of the season, held virtually, which was attended by representatives of the teams in the competition.
The session focused on the analysis of the fifth to the eleventh rules of the Anti-Doping Rules of the World Anti-Doping Agency (AMA/WADA), addressing those situations that concern both athletes and support staff of the clubs, and delving into the shared responsibilities within the professional handball environment.
This training allowed the club's management staff to strengthen their regulatory knowledge and prevent possible inadvertent errors, contributing to player protection, safety in sports practice, and compliance with international anti-doping standards.
With initiatives like this, ASOBAL reaffirms its commitment to the integrity of professional handball, promoting a sustainable and responsible framework in the governance of the clubs and the competition, one of the pillars of sustainability driven by the ASOBAL Legacy League (ALL) project. The professional league, which has been promoting these training sessions in various areas of professional handball, will continue to promote initiatives throughout the season, strengthening the awareness and responsibility of all sports actors.
