ASOBAL and ADESP sign an agreement to train the professionals of the Plenitude League.

The ASOBAL League has signed a collaboration agreement with the Spanish Sports Association (ADESP) within the framework of the Digital High Performance project, its program for the digitalization of Spanish Sport to train elite athletes in digital innovation and technology in the sports field. The entity that manages the elite of Spanish men's handball clubs, in this way, will make available to the coaches and players of the Plenitude League who request it a scholarship valued at 2,000 euros to carry out the study program, with the seal of the Rey Juan Carlos University, with a duration of 380 hours spread over a total of 16 weeks.

"We link ourselves to a project of enormous prestige in the field of elite Spanish sport to continue providing tools and resources to our professionals. The agreement with the Spanish Sports Association is one more step in the digitalization process that the Plenitude League is experiencing", explains the president of the ASOBAL League, Servando Revuelta. The course, which will premiere with a first edition between April 17 and July 31, has two types of degrees, depending on whether the student has a degree, bachelor's degree or diploma, with more than 300 hours of content on BigData, Cybersecurity, creation of digital culture and habits, Office 365 tools or innovation methodologies, among other folders.

The format of the training will be entirely online and will be taught through an e-Learning platform, in synchronous and asynchronous mode and with a high degree of accompaniment by specialized tutors and mentors. ASOBAL continues to firmly bet on exploiting its social side, valuing its athletes, the main asset of the Plenitude League. "We believe that it is as important to accompany the players and coaches in their sports career as in their training off the field. They are the basis of the project. From them begins the growth of the Professional League seal and the expansion of the ASOBAL product", adds Servando Revuelta.
