The two representatives of the Plenitude League in the EHF European League qualifying round, Fraikin BM. Granollers and ABANCA Ademar León, will play this weekend the first leg of a knockout stage that can take both teams to the group stage of the second continental competition, for which Bidasoa Irun and Bathco BM. Torrelavega are already qualified.

ABANCA Ademar León will have to overcome ABC de Braga in the first qualifying phase of the EHF European League. The team led by Dani Gordo will play, this Saturday at 6:00 p.m., at the Pavilhao Flavio Sa Leite with the aim of obtaining a good lead for the return match scheduled for Sunday, September 8 at 8:00 p.m. at the Palacio de los Deportes de León. The team's last participation in Europe was in the 2021/2022 campaign. The people from Leon fell in the second round against BM. Logroño La Rioja with a 34-30 in Rioja territory and 28-27 in León.

Fraikin BM. Granollers returns to the EHF European league with the thorn of the previous season, when the people from Valle could not overcome the first qualifying round against CSM Constanta despite having won in Romania (27-29) and after an adverse result in Granollers (22-25). This course, the Catalans will face IFK Kristianstad, with the advantage of enjoying the return match at the Palau d’Esports. The Kristianstad Arena will host the first leg, this Saturday at 3:00 p.m., while the return is set for Saturday 7 at 5:00 p.m.
