The last edition of the 'Gran Derbi' of the NEXUS ENERGY ASOBAL League between Fraikin BM. Granollers and Barça this weekend signed a record attendance data of 5,350 spectators, breaking and improving the spectacular record of the previous season (5,100), becoming the match of the professional competition with more fans of the last decade. The result, the technical alternatives and the talent of the teams of Antonio Ortega and Antonio Rama led the story of a historical photograph.
The attendance data, historical, supports the work in terms of brand development inside and outside the court that ASOBAL and its clubs are carrying out. From the preview, turning a sports window into an experience for the ASOBAL Community at the hands of Decathlon Spain, to the spotlights of the match that took place at the Palau d'Esports de Granollers.
The 'Gran Derbi' exceeded the previous year's edition (5,100) and the number of attendance that left the duel between Granollers and Helvetia Anatasuna the 2018/2019 season (matchday 3, with a result of 28-25 and the same data of people in the stands). It is, in addition, the best statistic in the history of ASOBAL as a Professional League and the best data after the Covid-19 pandemic that paralyzed the sports ecosystem and emptied the seats of each pavilion.
