ASOBAL held this Monday the last workshop of the first edition of the ASOBAL Legacy League (ALL), the project in terms of social, economic and environmental sustainability of the elite of Spanish men's handball clubs. With its president, Servando Revuelta, and its general director, Fernando Corral, leading the way, the professional competition team has been able to evaluate the results of the ALL, the work mechanics of the season, and delve into aspects such as the scope of sports sponsorship and the ability to generate synergies with strategic partners.

The activity, one more of the program that was defined months ago for the first course of the ASOBAL Legacy League -among personalized mentorships, ad hoc work and group activities-, has served to continue putting the focus on the different areas that make up the current sports business, setting the bases for the work that will be carried out the following campaign. The competition seeks to be a motor of change in elite Spanish handball, generating a legacy that has a direct impact on society, going beyond the 40x20 court.

The eight most sustainable clubs of the ASOBAL Legacy League

ASOBAL announced hours before the eight best-ranked teams of the first edition of the ASOBAL Legacy League, being the most outstanding clubs after successfully closing the first year of development and implementation of the ALL. Ángel Ximénez Puente Genil, Bada Huesca, Barça, Bathco BM. Torrelavega, Fraikin BM. Granollers, Frigoríficos del Morrazo, IRUDEK Bidasoa Irún, Recoletas Atlético Valladolid make up this list.

This classification, in parallel to the sports results of the Plenitude League 2024/2025, recognizes the eight clubs that have shown the greatest commitment and progress in the areas covered by the project promoted by ASOBAL. The ranking responds to an evaluation based on a system of definition and scoring of specific actions and projects aligned with the principles of the ASOBAL Legacy League.
