Valladolid stopped the number at 701.

Nacho Moyano – Coach of Frigoríficos del Morrazo
“Imagine what this figure means for a club like Cangas, which started seeing if it could last a year and has already had many seasons in ASOBAL. Playing 700 matches in the top division of national handball makes it a benchmark club in many ways. Being with those clubs that, historically, represent what they represent for national and world handball, is a pride and a satisfaction and of course it is a motivation to continue adding games in the top division, as well as being able to give joy to our fans, which are the engine that moves us day by day, our fuel. We want to continue being considered one of the historic clubs of ASOBAL”.
“On a personal level, I was unaware of the data and when ASOBAL published it, I thought that it is always a pride to be present at a historical event, at a round number like the 700 matches of a club like Cangas in the elite. It makes me realize how lucky I am to be part of this club, to be coaching it. It helps a lot to have even more motivation and more energy to face the day to day and the second round”.
